Ο Τεντέν (Tintin) είναι ήρωας της ομώνυμης σειράς κόμικς του Ερζέ (Herge, πραγματικό όνομα Ζωρζ Ρεμί). Οι περιπέτειες του (Οι περιπέτειες του Τεντέν, Les Aventures de Tintin) άρχισαν να δημοσιεύονται στις 10 Ιανουαρίου του 1929 στο παιδικό ένθετο Le Petit Vingtieme της εφημερίδας Le XXe Siecle (Ο 20ός αιώνας) και συνέχισε εκεί μέχρι τις 11 Μαΐου του 1930. Κατά τη διάρκεια του Δευτέρου Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου οι περιπέτειες του μεταφέρθηκαν στη Βελγική εφημερίδα Le Soir (πρώτη εμφάνιση στις 17 Οκτωβρίου 1940), στην οποία δούλευε ο Ερζέ, ενώ από τις 26 Σεπτεμβρίου 1946 άρχισε στο Βέλγιο η έκδοση του εβδομαδιαίου περιοδικού Τεντέν (γαλλική έκδοση: Le journal de Tintin, γερμανική έκδοση: Kuifje) από την εκδοτική εταιρεία του Raymond Leblanc, η οποία συνέχισε μέχρι το 1993.
Σήμερα αποτελεί ένα από τα πιο επιτυχημένα κόμικς παγκοσμίως, με περισσότερες από διακόσια εκατομμύρια πωλήσεις, ενώ έχει μεταφραστεί σε 58 γλώσσες. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει συνολικά 24 τεύχη, το τελευταίο από τα οποία κυκλοφόρησε το 1983. Επίσης, έχουν γυριστεί τέσσερις κινηματογραφικές ταινίες.
Ο Τεντέν είναι ένας Βέλγος δημοσιογράφος, ο οποίος συνέχεια εμπλέκεται σε περίεργες και παράξενες περιπέτειες. Οι φίλοι και οι συνεργάτες του είναι οι ντετέκτιβς Ντυπόν και Ντιπόν, ο Καπετάνιος Χάντοκ, ο καθηγητής Τρύφων Τουρνεζόλ και ο πιστός του σκύλος Μιλού.
